Hey I was wondering if anybody on here has ordered the VG Shark Fin from RPM and could tell me the time it usually takes to arrive. I know it says about four weeks since it has to get painted, anyone recieved it sooner?

I think that is about how long it took for me to get mine. RPM is very good about getting your parts to you when you order them. If you don't hear anything from them, call Donny. He is the man when it comes to solving any issues you may encounter

I got mine thru one of the group buys, and it took longer than that but we were all aware of that before the order was placed. It took time to complete the order, have them painted and the ship them out.

Either way, the end result is worth the wait, they quality of the product and the paint work is first class.

Reception is not quite as good as the stock buggy whip antenna, but unless you live way out in the boonies you'll be fine.

I mainly listen to CDs anyways so the radio having bad signal reception doesn't really make a difference. Yea, I heard that they come painted with high quality so that's why I wanted one. So I guess I'll just have to suck it up for 4 weeks and anticipate the day that it comes in haha.

Meh, 4 weeks is nothing. I waited a couple of months since I ordered part of the group buy. I must say that the wait is well worth it and the thing looks awesome.

RPM Store && VG Shark Fin FTW!

Mine took about 3 weeks. Donny has to send the order to VG in Vancouver and then they take their damn time painting it. But it will eventually come. It's kinda like the mazda6club stickers. It will come faster if you don't think about it.

mine took about 4 weeks and was well worth it. I use satelite radio and hid the antenna under the fin. looks alot cleaner then having it on the roof.

Well thanks for the input guys. I'll definately be putting my order in soon then. I've seen them on some 6's that roam about my area and they look really clean.

My wife bought me one for Christmas.

Paid for/bought on the 12th.

Shipped on the 19th.

Arrived on the 20th.

I just opened it today and can't WAIT to install it! Pending quality, I will definitely be coming back for some HID's. Can't freaking wait... *drools*
