I paid 21,650 for my 17 Sport trim auto, about 2 months ago. I read a lot where people say the mazda6 is noisy and rough, they must have fixed it all in the 17 models, it one of the quietest smoothest cars I've been in, must be the G vectoring ?

Congrats on your new purchase ! I did read somewhere that Mazda has added some extra sound deadening to reduce the road and wind noise. I really wish they could get rid of those awful Dunlops that are the biggest noise contributors in the touring and GT trims.

I think I was one of the first in the Midwest back on 9/12. Typical Touring Premium setup except for the Sand interior (so there was only one within 500 miles) was MSRP of $29,130. Took forever to get the last $185 agreed to, but was $26,815 plus fees and taxes.

I got my 2017 Touring w/ Sound&Sunroof package for $2700 off MSRP and 0% financing for 60 months. That included a $750 incentive specifically for VW Diesel owners.

EDIT - this was around the middle of January in the Midwest region.

They wanted to trade me into a '16 Sport with ATX starting at $30k before dealer fee without anything but floor mats before incentives, and their 6 incentives were only $1k instead of $1.5k that Mazda's been advertising on the '16s.

Would corporate even care they were pulling that with the incentives?
Looks like someone wanted to screw you over big-time. That's Grand Touring country.
