In the past Mazda has offered a $500 discount for current Mazda owners. This could be added on top of any other discounts and off the price negotiated with the dealer.

Any idea if this is still available?

Im pretty sure Mazda will still offer this as well as more discounts. Every single car dealership that has brought a new car into the market recently has offered at least $1000 discounts. The way the economy is they are doing everything in their power to lure customers into their shops.

They probably will with the economy today. I won't be buying the first-year model either way though.

Until they put a 6 speed manual with the V-6 it won't matter at all.
