Used Mazda 6s - Pricing Question

I've been looking to get a Mazda 6s for the past few weeks and have come across a few different ones that I thought were pretty good deals... But I'm just wondering forsure.

What does a 2004 Mazda 6s with around 30,000 to 40,000 miles go for? I found one for $9,000 and another one for $11,500 those are the cheapest I've found...

Are those good deals or not?

V6 or I4?

I recently picked up an 03 MTX V6 for a little over 12k. I figure that was a good deal since it had low miles ( 35k ), clean vehicle history, all maintenance records, and was in excellent condition, nearly max options w/leather.

I think 11,500 is a bit high for an I4, but 9k seems like a good deal.

Run a search on AutoTrader.com and Cars.com and see what you come up with.

Be sure to check vehicle history both with CarFax and with your DMV online before buying anything.

Also I only buy from private party's so I can meet the person selling the car and judge what type of person they are. If I get a bad vibe from them I dont buy.

The "S" in 6S indicates V6. Sounds like expected range for that car with those miles.
