JCME, from an old post of mine, maybe give you some Sirius location options, this post was about my 2014, Touring MT. Also what is not included below is the movement of my antenna to the inside on my rear deck by the plastic brake light cover. I would have never never believed it but it worked for 2 years like that, zero drop issues and looked very clean, almost unnoticeable. I now listen to my Sirius in this. (always like an opportunity to post a pic of my 2016, Touring)

"I did what Clay Easton did, i have a different unit - Startus 7, after no luck with the adhesive and the vent holder which to me looked ridiculous, my Strat 7 fit perfectly in the open area under the temperature controls, working the buttons to change stations was a PAIN so i bought a Sirius remote for dirt chap from sirius and EXCEPT for the fact MAZDA gave no Sirius option with my 2014 Mazda, Mazda 6, Touring MT this has worked ok for me. I did a good job running and hiding the antenna wire but the AUX wire does run straight from the aux in the armrest to the unit, it just kind of hangs between the passenger seat and console. For a cleaner look the aux wire can be run under the shift console and a small whole can be drilled to hide that wire. But after 8 months i haven't even bothered. My unit was FREE from Sirius, as i have had been a regular customer since 2007.

Look for this link on here - gramdacious. He did a nice install hiding the Aux line."

Thanks 6andcounting!

And, your car looks great. I've grown to really like white as a color. Kinda wish it had been an option for me...along with built in Sat radio.

Can't speak for everyone else...mine are dirty cause my feet are dirty. Everything's dirty up here, especially in winter. The only way my mats and my car would stay clean is if I didn't drive it.

Its 4:30 on the Tuesday after Memorial Day. I have arrived home with this strange new car. My wife takes a picture.
I totally read this with a James T. Kirk voice.

SO HOLD ON... I wanted the MT, but it didn't have the infotainment center, I was told I had to get an AT... Just one more, (I won't say lie) mistruth born out of ignorance I guess. Well Frak.

I think in SPORT trim, that's true. The TOURING trim level has the infotainment system and screen.

I'm shocked that a car salesperson gave the wrong information to a customer! (massive eye roll) Its not a lie if they don't know what they're talking about, right?

First sales person in Knoxville, TN when I asked if the infotainment system could be updated. "Honestly I have no idea." So not a lie. Second sales person whom I actually bought the car from, I asked what is this circular panel on the front of the car? "Oh that's a port for hooking up a computer." It's an eyehook port for shipping the car.

https://www.amazon.com/photos/share/...29onLk3rpwIb2E certainly not a malcious lie.. so I could have had a MT with infotainment... oh well, I still love my car, and frankly I think the sport was and is the best option for me.

I've heard some amazing BS from salespeople, but that's gotta be in the top three most absurd statements! (BTW, theres a tow eyelet in with your tire jack and lug tools. It can be used to winch your car up on a roll back, too.)

This is the most important thing. Enjoy and drive safe.

I wondered what that impression was for, I didn't seem to get a set.

2016 and above didn't get the tools. I had the dealer look in the 3's and the 6's on the lot when I was buying my car and not one had the tools. All of them have the impression, but no tow hook.
