Default Isnt's Build Thread

o. I was a proud owner of an 04 05 sti, stage 3 turbo, etc etc. Until l it was wrecked. now I didn't have the money to fix or buy a new car, so my parents said they'll buy me a car if it was 4 cyl with no turbos.... So I now have an 04 Auto Mazda 6i, leather, bose sound, seat warmers. Unfortunately the car has a ricer vacuum gauge.

So far my list of mods (nothing major)
-Auxmod
-LEDGLOW 4 pc interior lights, (2 in foot well, 2 in back, was concidering chopping them off)
-Smoked marker lights
-White Led dome lights, courtesy lights etc
-Chopped mufflers

So yeah, if you have any suggestions let me know

Mr ricer vacuum gauge... yay....

You can remove the door guards. Change all 194 bulbs to LED's. do the brake light mod. Cut your emblem to the evil M & plasti dip it. Paint interior pieces. Add some subs (which is really simple beings you have BOSE).

For more ideas check out build threads. Guys usually have a link to them in their sigs.

Enjoy your stay here. Lots of great info to be found. If you have troubles finding something specific, just ask & someone will be happy to help you out.

I'm not a fan of the "Evil M" i was thinking masking my car and just plasti dipping it on the car. Brake light mod? and the door guards im concerned that if I remove them paint will be darker than the normal coat.

I suggest removing the emblem to plasti dip it. Ive seen results of a few guys doing them on the car & its difficult to get in the corners & around the edges properly with it on the car still.

The brake light mod, well search for exactly that on here & you will find a how-to & explaination if exactly what it is & does. Its extremely easy on the hatches and if you are removing your emblem you will have the interior liner of the hatch off already so accessing the wires is simple. You can also pm me if you need more info regarding that & i will be happy to help.

I removed door guards on my buddies 2004 which is also glacier silver & there was no difference in paint color what-so-ever. Im sure you will be fine as long as the doors havent been painted. I only know of 2 ppl on here who have had that issue so you should be fine.

If you want to remove the door guards but are concerned about fading, just heat up and pull back a bit of one of the ends to see how it looks (with good lighting). If it doesn't look good, then you can easily stick that little bit back on.

White plasti dip will work for sure. Just make sure everything is good & clean. Awesome part is it peels off if you decide you dont like it.

The silver "mazda 6" badge is only held on with double sided tape. No pins on backside. I took mine off.
