As the title says, I washed my 6 today.
It is a pretty much completely stock 2004 Mazda 6 Sport. I'll be detailing it later today and/or tomorrow when it gets cooler, it's ~100 outside right now and considering I don't have any shade it's not a good idea. I will add some more pics after it's detailed. Sorry, the only camera I have is my iphone and I'm not really into driving to abandoned areas or having professionals photograph the car... ![]() photo 4 by Riki desu, on Flickr Note: This is at a car wash place, but I do use my own soap and bucket, I just use the shade and water whenever I wash the car. ![]() photo 5 by Riki desu, on Flickr ![]() photo 1 by Riki desu, on Flickr Sleeping ![]() photo 2 by Riki desu, on Flickr Picture I took a week or two ago because of the cool wasp on the glass... ![]() photo 3 by Riki desu, on Flickr About a month ago... ![]() photo by Riki desu, on Flickr Let me know what you guys think.

Thanks for the nice comments guys.
Not normally because sometimes forget to take it off when it rains. Usually I only do it when I don't plan on driving it for a couple days and nowadays it seems like a good idea since it's normally above 100 and the car is on fire whenever I get in it and with the black leather int, it burns. It's better than nothing considering I don't have a garage atm.

I think it's been about two months since the last time I detailed it, I've probably washed it three times in that time frame. I'm going to start detailing it. I'll have to take pictures tomorrow or the next day because I'll run out of daylight today and I'm interested in taking pics from about the same positions as the first ones to see if anyone notices a difference. Even though most places have a sign posted saying "No Buckets" or something like that, the one I go to is close by and there is no sign like that there, with relatively few people. I first use $1.50 to spray down the car and fill up my bucket, then I'll wash the car by hand with my own soap and sponge, then I use another $1.50 to rinse the car off. If it wasn't so hot outside today, I probably would have stayed there for awhile and detailed it in the bay because no one was there but I just wanted to go indoors.
