So, i went to the mazda dealership today to pick up my 2009 mazda 6 from the body shop after getting hit. I saw a 2006 Black Cherry Mica speed 6 on the lot and figured i'd ask for a test drive. Well long story short, the '09 stayed back and i came home with the speed 6

No, just giving ya a hard time, Hector. Nice purchase! I expect to see a bunch of pics here very soon.

It does suck 'cause you had one of the nicest 2nd-gens around, and all the ground-breaking you've done for other 2nd-gens is VERY much appreciated, including by me. But I can understand the appeal of a MS6, with the AWD and turbo...

Don't suppose you could have kept both?

haha thanks man! like i said, i loved that 2G and i had a lot of (minor) work into it. I wish i could have kept both, but having to insure another car + taxes and having another loan to pay off would be too much

luckily, i am going back to the dealership tomorrow to salvage my HID headlight and fog bulbs to transfer to the ms6. and i need to do the AUX mod. I am so excited to get some work done with this new monster

. the only thing that is already done for me is an exhaust. not sure what exhaust it is because i havent looked at it yet, but it sounds NICE.

I will still be around appreciating all the 2Gs on here and that community will always be a part of me.
