I am retired. Weird to say at this point in life.

The ceremony was Friday and I've had to entertain family all weekend. Today...I'm mush. Slept in to 9:30 which felt strangely odd. But I could get accustomed to this.

Maybe I'll have time to wash my car now!!!

Congrats Chief on the retirement. My boy is in week #2 @ Great Lakes RTC. We just received his personals and the form letter yesterday. He also states in less than three sentences that RDC training is grueling.

Good luck and thanks for all of the Navy advice you passed onto my son Andrew.

Thanks for the reply...yes I'm hoping so too. For Andrew to get his red rope will be a huge accomplishment for him but regardless, we're so proud he's dedicating his life and career to serve and protect this great country of ours.

congrats chief i just got out after 6 years as a ranger, cant stand being a civilian once i finish rotc im going back, civ life just isnt for me

Thanks. Wish you the best when you return. So far...I've discovered that naps will work into my sked with no problem. And that watching the lawn sprinkler go back and forth is very mesmerizing. Oh...my car is clean, too!
