Uggghhh... I just got home from the International Meet and looked back at my clear bra where it looked like I had cracks in the paint. We (coworkers and myself) saw these cracks right after I picked up the car from Accutint as one was 1/2 inch and the other was a full inch.

The guys at Speedware saw them too and thought they might be bubbles as well so I didn't think about it until yesterday when I was getting ready for today. Then a body shop guy who was at the meet said it looked like cracks. I felt the lines again and they felt like a crack.

So I pulled a small portion (about a 1/4 inch or less)of the clear bra back to check and freaking dammit. It was cracked, I called and left a message tonight telling them what I found. Supposedly, they have a warranty for damage caused.

I cleaned the car the night before so I know it wasnt cracked before I brought it into Accutint. I hope the guy didn't just try to hide the crackes with the 3M clear bra, passing them off as bubbles.

It looks like someone dropped a tool on it.

Thanks 1low6!

Here are the pics below of the Accolade bumper that I spend about $1000.00 fixing and getting painted by Queen City Auto in Redmond. Then was given back cracked after Accutint gave it back. BTW...couldn't check out the car at Accutint as it was pouring rain out when I picked it up. I checked it out when it was in the parking garage at work after I picked it up and at Speedware.

SwirlFx couldn't even believe it when he saw it today.

So I brought it in and they going to fix it. WHOO HOOO!!!!

I was correct in my assumption that two separate people put on the clear bra. It was one person for each side, and it happens that one messed up that day.

Accutint's manager was fair and very nice the whole time. One of the workers tried to say it was cracked when I pulled up....BS.... and that he was sure noted it before he started work on the car.

He was wrong, I pulled out my copy of the invoice and there were no notes about it.

Then the manager pulled up his records and there were no records of any damage prior to them starting work on the car. He seemed pretty disappointed in his employee, as it was clear he was trying to cover his butt.

Overall, I am very happy with the front desk people and manager. They handled my claim very professionally and are correcting the issue.

***He was so cool that I just went ahead and had them tint my windows.

................................... The tint job came out great!!!!! Makes the car look mean! It was a great price (very low) and then they used a clay bar and washed the car for free.

They have to fix the cracks on the front next week, paint guy was out for the weekend. But it should be ok, I am just happy they made it right.
