I have read the post on this forum for a very long time but rarely post. Im in Olympia and was wondering how many of us are in the area. It seems like there may be a few.I have a Black 2005 Mazda 6S. I have put in 2 sets of Hids 8000K a clifford security system with auto start auto roll up windows ect. And a JL audio sound system along with other small mods. Its getting that time of year when i will be working on my car more and more. Its nice to know that other people that are doing some of the same thing are in the area. i am always happy to answer questions on stuff I have done already if someone is trying to do something similar. Anyway a local M6 club on a small scale could be good too. Say for the Olympia, Lacey tumwater and alittle further. anyways just wanted to see if anyone is getting together periodically as it is or not.

Hey man.

I may have some q's about installing HID's, as I am dying to do it. But in regards to local meets, it has been pretty slow around here and I can only recall ever going to 1, and even that wasn't 6club specific.

I'd be down for more meets though.

we had a good one last summer even though it rained like crazy. we should probably look into doing that again and hopefully the weather will work out for us.

Welcome back Steve! Hope Oly is exactly what you remembered!

I think there are several of us who have done HID stuff, from plug and play to TSX retro (which I've done). I'm sure we'll have most of the answers for you.

Local meets....well....maybe when can actually choose a day where it doesn't freakin' rain on us!

Basically I'm wondering how 'blue' we can have our HID's in WA go w/out drawing unneeded attention. Is 8,000k too blue?

Also wondering how difficult HID's are to install (I have a v6), and if it's possible to convert both the headlights and integrated fogs to HID's and have both constantly on (I just leave my lights on all the time. me=lazy), and what consequences, if any, will occur. I know I could just search and probably find what I'm asking here, but as was already mentioned, I'm lazy.
