My wife and I decided to wash, clay and wax the Mountaineer today. We'll probably be putting it up for sale soon so we wanted to see how she looked all cleaned up. Not bad for nearly 10 years old I think.

dear god...why is the pinstripe still on?

looks really clean though, shouldn't be too hard to sell it looking like that.

We purchased it used in 2006. I wouldn't dare take the pinstripe off at that point, especially on a black truck. The ghosting would have been pretty bad. It annoyed me for a bit when we got it but eventually you just forget it's even there.
