C7 Corvette

On the MotorTrend Website there was pictures of the C7 corvette, not sure if it was their final release or just a speculation but from what i saw, i was really disappointed. The rear has the Camaro-like tail lights which are very unappealing, and the front looks like a 370Z. Hopefully GM doesnt go with this as their final release.

Modifications
-tinted windows
-K&N intake
-Blacked out Grill, Rear piece, Window trim and emblems.
-side stripes similar to the Grand Sport corvette
-2009 RX-8 rims Stock color
-tinted head and tail lights (SOON!)
-Deciding if to lower or not

I'm thinking about my next car being a C6 Corvette, 370z or an STi.

I'm excited to see more of the C7 though.

yeah i want to get a C6 as well. where i live theres a 2006 with 30k ish miles for 24k which is pretty cheap considering it was rarely driven. but i would like a 2008+ for the ls3 engine, although the ls2 and ls3 arent very different from one another.

You've noticed the same things as I did. The economy caused a lot of people to return their summer Vettes and now the lots are full of them.

I hope I can capitalize on this without feeling the pain of premium gas and insurance rates when I'm 25.

It's only getting around 405hp too, the camaro has more power than that. The vettes just going to be a gnat on the windshield for the mustang with the direction it has been heading.

I've always hated the Corvette, and it's only a matter of time till GM turns it into a hybrid. They just need to look else where for power train the LS is tired and wore out, they've done squeezed all they can from it. They are always so far behind in the power wars, and technology it's funny.
