2010 Volkswagen GTI

Click me!

If I were in the market, I'd pick the GTI over the MS3 based solely on the styling...

Really the VW. Yeah they lost there quality like back in the 60's. 2000+ VW anything breaks down every 5,000 miles.

They're beautiful, safe, solid, appealing vehicles. However, they're in the shop more than they're on the road.

The SHO I want is $47,000, it may be loaded like a Benz, but at that price, I could buy a Benz.

Yeah, I know. I priced one out at 42K. That's way out of my budget, and I'm not looking to trade in the 6 anyways. Just think, for what they are charging I'm guessing more than a few will be leased. So in two or three years we'll be able to pick one up at half price and barely broken in.

The top package starts at $41k. We get supplier pricing, they're still $37k. Hell even the mid-level ones are $30k. For a Taurus? No way. I'll buy an Audi first.

Of course, when they hit the market used their prices will be half that I'm sure.

Ford went from making no even decent cars for the U.S. market to a $40K Taurus? yeah, that makes sense.

Intereting stuff on VW. They have less than 1% of the U.S. market (with the VW brand I believe) yet they are the world's largest auto producer this year. China baby China!

They are #1 in China (followed by GM) and the Chinese auto market has grown by 70% this year based on government incentives.

I'd buy a GTI.

VW is the largest auto producer this year, not because of VW, but rather of all the brands they own. VW owns Porsche, Bugatti, Lamborghini and Bentley.
