That's bad ass. They did the right thing by letting Shelby's operation take care of it. Ford decided to have SVT go in the Raptor direction and I think that it turned out killer. I'm glad that they didn't have to share development time.

While that's bad ass, it's no representation of the SVT team, the only thing that ties it to the last generation Lightning is the Super Charger. Also it will unfortunately come with a premium over the what the Lightning commanded because of Carol Shelby's name. Gotta say I'm diggin it though, that front end says don't F@#% with me.

What are you people looking at? I thought the last Lightning was Fugly, but this thing beats it hands down. It better have some VTEK kinda power to make up for it's pitiful looks.

It is tradition for the Lightning to not too many unique exterior pieces. The first gen Lightning was nothing more than a set of wheels, body-color grille and different lower valance (Exterior wise). Second-gen, same story, wheels and taillights were the only "unique" exterior changes, everything else was already available on the rest of the line.

The Lightning was meant to blend in with other customer modified F-150s, sort of like a sleeper.
