If you are making it as a daily driver purchase, you are completely out of your mind.
If you are making it as a fun, weekend driver purchase, then sweet.

As for plans, weighing it out, the B20 does have a good deal of support as far as performance goes, stroker kits, superchargers, cams, heads, etc. However when I saw the eVOLVo from SEMA 2004 powered by a turbocharged Duratec 2.3 and Vox's P1800 powered by a Yamaha/Volvo 4.4L V8, I just get a big stupid grin on my face. So weighing cost vs power, the car only weighs about 2,300 lbs, so not much power is actually needed to make it fast. Outside of the engine, V-Performance street springs, IPD sway bar set, V-Performance polyurethane bushings, V-Performance LSD. For wheels, I was amazed to find out the 5x108 bolt pattern has not changed, so current factory Volvo wheels could be a possible selection.

If you go through it with the intention of turning it into a daily driver and not a trailer queen, you could make it work for you. I used my 67 Mustang as a daily driver for about 10 years, and truthfully, buying good tires for it was the best thing I ever did. Other than that, I carried jumpers, a few starter solenoids in the trunk and small took kit.
