Wow im quite amazed they have come a long way. I like the interior, simple and the seats are amazing. I have a speed 6 and I dont like the seats lol. He got the 2.0t version auto, cause well, the dealership said that if you want a manual you have to wait 90 days same for the V6 track model as well. So the car has some balls, with its 210hp and 238lb/ft something like that. Not bad at all. The rear seats are a joke though, I sat in there and I was hunched all the time, and im only 5'8". But anyway the car is really nice, I really like it, you dont see much of them either. Im gonna go test drive the V6 version this monday, but they only have it in auto, like I said you have to wait 90 days for a manual.

I really am contemplating of trading in my speed for one, I dont care if its a Hyundai...

Hey man

I've seen the Genesis up close on many occasions, and while still a bit rough around the edges, it's certainly a nice execution from Hyundai. I like to think of it as an Evolution but with RWD. Personally, my advice is to opt for the 2.0t for mod heaven You should very easily be able to exceed 300 hp with just a few mods

Or just get a WRX and call it a day, haha

Between the two engines, the 2.0t would definitely get the nod from me. It's funny because at this altitude (4,000ft) the performance advantage the v6 has over the 2.0t would be almost negated and definitely would be at around a mile or so above sea level. Very easy to get to 6,000-8,000ft around here.

Anyways, if you like it, why not? They certainly do seem rare, as I've by far seen more GTRs and SL65 AMG Black Series than Genesis Coupes lol. I really was expecting to see them like civics overnight.

That is character. Polish and refinement kill it and some vehicles altogether when a new version comes out. Definitely not a bad thing to have some rough edges.

True, but nah I still want a euro car, I was just astounded by the genesis coupe and how well it is put together. Maybe the next model will be better who knows. But for the price and performance it def is a bargain... my friends 2.0t actually sounds really good stock and it has a lot of torque...

BTW ive seen the Cp-E video of there genesis coupe and it sounds sik, it even did a flame/backfire lol... but I want N/A man, im just bored with boost lol, did I say that?...

just something to entice... sounds like an aircooled boxer 6 doesnt it?... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kuuF27WpUtw
