Default New Mazda6 owner

Hello everyone. My name is Dave, I live in Grand Rapids, MI.
I am 32, Married have 3 kids and 1 on the way. I work at RiverTown Honda as the wholesale accounts rep.
I have always been a big Mazda fan and have had 2 Mazda RX-7's in the past. Over the last many years I have owned MANY MANY cars and Mazda's still seem to always draw me back in (or another Subaru) lol

Friday my wife and I bought my new car, 2004 Mazda6 2.3L 5spd. Volcano Red with cloth interior. Only 80k miles. I have already fallen in love with this car.

I have some pictures below. What you see is what I bought, tinted windows etc.

The drivers seat has a large hole in the padding and the seat cover is ripped. Part of the deal is that sometime in the next week they will be taking my car for the day to replace the pad and reupholster the seat.
I also need to get the car to the body shop next week to get an estimate on having a minor dent next to the fuel door taken care of.

Anyways onto the pictures.

Thx Toxic... I'm not a red fan normally, however if you had seen all the cars I have had you would think so with my luck of owning many red cars lol..

I LOVE this red on THIS car!!!

Smoke.. Honestly right now while it is cold (in Michigan) I am going to work on getting the looks 100% right, I need to replace the lower control arms (all 4), tires and the rear lower torque strut. After that then I will look into upgrades but I honestly have no idea as of now.

I wanna get rid of the chrome and paint/dip to black on the emblems. Probably remove the "mazda6" emblem all together (as long as they are just stuck on).
I will be getting HID's on it asap and swapping out to led bulbs as soon as I can..
No ricey stuff for me just looks and clean!

^^ That's how we like it around here.

Nice and clean, no rice in between.

Yeah, I am over those days, not that I was ever a ricer but I am all about keeping it clean... What I currently see doing to my car:

blacked out evil M on the back
blacked out front stock emblem
remove the "mazda6" emblem (as long as there will be no holes
remove the dealers logo
black out the emblems on the center caps
Maybe paint the stock wheels black or gunmetal in the summer.

Like I said.. keep it clean my friend...

^^ Great start sir. As far as I know, the only emblems on the car that leave holes if taken off are the Front and Back Mazda "M"s. The "Mazda6" emblem is just stuck on there.

To add one more thing to your list, think about removing the door guards too. They're only held on by 3M tape and when removed they allow your car to have a nice sleek and clean look.

Free mods that look good are always a plus

Only holes behind emblems are behind the M.

Sounds like a good start. I suggest removing the door guards too. Gives a much cleaner look. Id wait for spring though.
