The turn signal in my 2009 S grand touring seems loud. In the manual it says "the dealer can lower the volume". Is this something I can do?

To me, is sounds like something they could only change using IDS to communicate with the BCM or Lighting Processor. If it was simple and something you could do the manual would say so.
