Just to clear up some info in here. Do not remove the cats unless you plan on running o2 sims. The cats are the only emission based thing in your exhaust other than the EGR. The resonator has nothing to do with smog testing. It's a resonator meaning it helps keep the exhaust quiet.

No. The resonator is before the y pipe. You have one resonator and two mufflers.

Remove the mufflers!
I thought mufflers were the same as the resonator
