Default ecusafe advice.

Hi all.
so i've decided to get rid of the dreaded DPF.
got the software , and got the cable so just need a bit of advice.
my car is mazda 6 diesel 2008 2.0.
first question is how do i know what ecu i have (siemens or bosch)?
and when i click on open binary it just opens up my documents,
what do i need to do to?
would like a bit of a walk through from someone.
cheers for your help with this guys, would love to get it sorted myself.

The galletto cable is fine but the software it came with does not support mazda.
so am i right in saying the galletto software removes the file then you put it into ecusafe?
so what software do i need for a mazda 6??

We only have petroleum engines in the states, so working on the diesel ones is totally foreign to us. Also, our ECU's are a total nightmare compared to those over seas, wish we got ones similar to y'all.

GL and post some pics, hopefully some of our members from over seas will be able to better assist you.
