Hi all. new to this forum just thought i would say hello. had y 6 now for bout 6 months love it but have been noticing a slight issue and was hoping for some words of wisdom about it.
The issue is with the fuel consumption its an 06 saloon diesel (143) and only getting if i drive sensibly around 13 liters per 100 mile which is about 34mpg which does not seem right i used to get loads more on ma old passat if drove same. it has recently been serviced with mazda filters except the air which is a K&N panel filter, also a friend did a DPF regeneration for me to make sure that is clear but still i can not get better consumption.... anyone got any ideas? cheers Joss |

A quick search showed me, as of time of manufacture, the '06 6 diesel is rated at 5.0-5.9L/100km... So yea, you may have something wrong. Unfortunately I know very little about troubleshooting diesel engines in general, so I am not of much help otherwise.
