04 6 s 5speed 3.0, just installed full cold air intake (HUGE difference thru 3rd), everything else is stock. Wondering if these chips will over ride the governor and if they will recalculate my air ratio so that my check engine light goes off (reading all four o2 sensors)

There isnt a chip out there for our cars that actually does something. The ECU is always learning so even if one was able to do anything it wouldnt be for long.

The codes are likely from your intake. An air straightener will fix that right up most likely.

It was throwing that code before i put the intake on but when i swapped them i found a split hose. Now hose is fixed didnt find any other leaks and still code. I also think its caused from to much air. Thanks
