Was wondering what type of oil you guys put in your car. I've had my oil changed at the dealership every 5,000 miles due to them sending me coupons for oil changes for $20. However, they have stopped sending me those coupons. So now I will be going to a oil/lube place for this. The dealership has been putting 5W-20 semi-synthetic Quaker State in it for the past year. Probably will continue to use it, unless ya'll advise otherwise. Thanks!

I used Mobil1 in my '03 6i and now use it in my '06 6i. Never had a problem and actually seems to have picked up a MPG or so. It will cost you considerably more than $20 with Mobil1, though, but it's definitely worth it.

I've selected, in order of preference, Havoline 5w-20 and Motorcraft 5w-20. I'm on a 5000 mile service and use whatever filter I feel like... except Fram, just because. The engine is not going to run worse or fail because I didn't run a synthetic, and the chassis will rust through before the engine wears out.

Yea, got a case ordered today.

Make sure you get the customer loyalty package or whatever... even if you get it for 6 months ( the 10$ one) it will easily pay for it self.

It made my case around $54 from $79 or something like that.

I would highly recommend either Royal Purple 5w20 or Amsoil's newer 0w20.
