I have blue LED's in my Blue 6. Been in there about 6 months with no problem but I'm sure it's illegal.
Rollin' the dice and livin' on the edge!

i had blue lights in the front... i got pulled over so fast. they almost charged me with "impersonation of a cop vehicle". it was pretty lolz.... so i just took out the lights infront of them.
now i got glowing blue LED shift nob, and blue LED lights in the back seat... its pretty illegal...but sure looks cool.

i'm a PO in Rhode Island, dont worry, i work in the schools teaching 7 graders and not a fan of passing out traffic violations. In my state it is illegal to change the color of any illumination on the exterior of the car. it is also against the law to add any kind of illumination like those rediculous wiindshield washer nozzle lights. the colors of the lights are established by the department of transportation for safety reasons and they dont like them to be messed with. the plate illuminator light has to be white so that the plates state of origin can be established from a reasonable distance. if you change plate light to red then a white plate will now appear red or pink. i know this thread is a little old but i hope this is helpful.

Yeah, I think that's pretty much universal from state to state. Myabe some slight differences, but colors other that white are probably going to be frowned upon no matter where you are.
