Does anybody know what this tube is/does that is between the intercooler and firewall? It's goes into the firewall and is half way between the right and left fender (the middle of the firewall going accross between fenders). Looks like an oil dipstick tube with no dipstick in it (at least I hope it is not supposed to have a dipstick in it becuase mine doesn't).

Well, at least that makes 2 cars the same. Was hoping maybe this was the secret to unlocking another 5 mpg gas mileage or something. Not happy so far with my mileage ~19mpg mostly highway.

Yeah saw that myself right after I got done with an install. For a moment I got worried that I had inadvertently unplugged something.

It is some sort of tube used for final inspection of a system in the vehicle. It is worthless once it leaves the assembly line. Although I heard you shouldn't screw with it.

What Kurf said.............................it's useless now (was used for inspection during final assembly) and do not mess with it, plug it or remove it.
