Any reccomendations on an intake and exhaust for the 6i?

I checked out racingbeat but they said something about how if you have the sport kit (bumpers, side skirts, muffler tips) that their exhuast wont fit.

My only stipulation is that it doesnt sound like crap... i.e. NO COFFEE CAN EXHAUST!

Also, I took a look at the K&N intake as well as the one made by AEM. The one by AEM seems to have more of a HP gain, but i just took a quick glance at a dyno chart so I dunno for sure... I could be wrong.

So if anyone has any insight into which is the best, please let me know.

Magnaflow always sounds good :-) and injen/aem is a good choice for CAI on the 6i.

Magnaflow for the exhaust. Period!

Intake: For best gains and the guarantee of not throwing a check engine light, go with CPE (~$500)

For slightly less gains and the possibility of a CEL, then go with Injen (~$200)

Well I went with the injen intake at first and liked it but have traded up into the cpe since I have been doing more stuff with my car I figured I would want to be able to tune so thats why I did that. And with exhaust I went with 2.5 inch custome piping into dual dynomax sts turbo mufflers and love the sound. I like a little bit louder sound then the magnaflow and this gave it to me. But the magnaflow is a great setup and if you dont want to spend as much money as cpe then go with injen.

with the 6i the gains arent much more than an aem or injen whihc IMO isnt worth an extra 300 bucks. The 6s is a different story though..

Ok, so Im guessing I should go with magnaflow. But I've never heard what it sounds like. does anyone have a soundclip of one equipped on a 6i???

go to the magnaflow website and they have sound/videoclips of the exhausts in action ... check it out
