i have a mazda 6ts estate 2003 with manual 5 speed.

will a 2005 ts manual 6 speed fit?

i have to replace mine and ive found one.

also whats the pros and cons between 5 and 6 speed?

where are you from? i didn't even know there was a 6 speed.

generally speaking (and subarus don't count for this) 5 speed gear boxes are alot more durable and can handle more power than a 6 speed counter part. but like i said, i never heard of this tranny...

6 speed manuals were offered on several Mazda 6 models in Europe and Japan. In North America, engine and transmission choices are usually limited compared to overseas markets. With so many drivers here demanding automatics, we should count ourselves lucky the Mazda 6 is offered with any manual at all.
