i bought my car with a mazdaspeed short throw already installed on it. when i shift grears it make a odd click/clunk, that you can feel in the shift knob.

is this normal? and if not, what should i do to fix it?

..amazing that no-one has answered this yet, kind of. Do a search in this subsection (MTX transmission) for "bolt mod". You should find the how to on it pretty quickly, that will smooth up the shifting.
