i don't know when it went missing, but it's missing. i'd like to replace it so there's no gap like you see in the picture. it's the drivers side at the bottom of the windshield. i've been trying to look it up, and i've got it down to either a moulding, a gusset, or a gutter. can anyone please help me figure out what part this is???

I don't know the exact name for this piece, but i had to replace it also (damaged by windshield installers) just take the car the dealer and explain /show what you need . it did not cost that much as I recall, but make sure you get the part/parts that attach it also.

thanks guys, i was guessing i met have to stop at the dealership to be sure. was it something you were able to reattach yourself? it looks like it could be tricky getting to the backside under the hood to hold a nut or something.
