Was driving home the other day and the volume of air coming out of my vents was pathetic.... Fan on high and it was wheezing at me. When I got home I started a search for the cabin air filter. Found it behind the glove box, behing a small snap in rectangular cover. I pulled the filter out and it was PACKED with what looked like insulation, the filter was deformed and you could see where it had rubbed against the blower fins. No idea where or when or for how long this stuff was there, all I know is that as soon as I pulled it all out the volume of air out of vents greatly increased (it would move my hair again!). I installed a Wix cabin air filter p/n 24907 for under $20. Will do this yearly from now on (the filter I pulled out was 6 years old ....)
