Theres no child lock on the drivers side, only the rear doors. I have had my lock go out on me on my tribute but not on the 6.

I would unfortunately go to the dealer and check it. It can either be the lock mechanism on the door or the actuator that operates the opening and closing.

I assume you can still use your key? If so then it could be the actuator. But get it checked by the dealer or local mechanic to be sure.

Have you ever removed the door or the part around the lever on the inside. I have forgotten to plug the lock back in sometimes and that jacks up the door. It would be the small white clip that plugs into the lock and unlock part of the door. Just a thought.

Well when I said stuck it still moves a little, sometimes it will lock barley, but just about always never unlock. Most of the times the lock just moves a little. I took the door panel off and wanted to see if anything was binding it. No luck. So what is the cable from the lock going into called, I think that may be bad. Thanks.
