07 Mazda 6 i Sport
A thought ran through my head the other day and began to put some serious brain power into it. Basically i'm looking at taking out the bumper grill and fog light inserts to give a coat of jet black (haven't decided but will be a black) and clear coat, really to bring out some luster in otherwise boring grills. But the real kicker that seems to have been stumping me is that i need a fairly accurate/effective way of cutting out holes in the fog light inserts to match the center bumper grill. I tinkered around with a variety of drill bits, dremel tools, and a Roto Zip on a plastic material and have not found a pleasing outcome. So here's my question(s)... What type of drill/dremel bits should i get to have success in cutting out the holes? Is there an other effective method? In your head, what step process would you follow (for the cutting and painting)? Thanks for any help, thoughts, or ideas! P.S. If it helps my car is the redfire metallic red w/ home depot lip. <-- In regards to getting a better idea how it would look in the front.
