So I went to the dealer got the price $100+ and he said it would be an hour labor $80...so funk that, can some one here let me know to get that thing out?

i believe you have to remove the radio assy first to find the bolts/screws that hold it on. be careful removing the radio as there is a hidden bolt you have to get through the glovebox hole (after removing the glovebox). also once you buy the replacement storage box ,it will be more evident as to how it is mounted by looking at the new one.

You have to start by removing the cup holder, then the shifter trim, then the radio, and finally you can remove the map compartment.

Funny how these all start to break at the same time. I just had mine break in the exact same manner. Anybody got any ideas to repair this without replacing the entire map pocket?
