2005 Mazda Sport Wagon with 56K on the clock, and I use my cargo cover frequently. This past weekend, I go to pull it out, and it refuses to spring back into the case. It seems the spring, or whatever inside has given up. Has anyone else experienced this problem, and know how to repair?

Thanks,
BreadMan

sorry breadman mine just sit there for looks pretty much. If there was a way to cover up those nasty holes in the paneling I would take it out.

Well, I use it frequently, so I guess I'll take it apart this weekend and see if it can be repaired.

Were you able to figure out a way to fix your cargo cover? I am having the same problem now and I have peeled off the cover from the spring rod, but I am not quite sure how to open it and where to go from there. Any help would be appreciated.

I've got the same problem, so if there is anybody out there that solved this, I'd love to hear about it.
