Default Victorian Registration Suggestions

I know this has been a topic of discussion before, but over the weekend I was thinking of a few more ideas...

As mentioned earlier, the current series of standard plates is "S", therefore SIX is an obvious choice, but there are more...

You will need to check availability with Vicroads for any of these, but it could be worth the exercise

IAM-006
IMA-006
HIS-006
OUR-006
CMY-006

The position of the 6 could also be elsewhere in the number field as well.

just to let u know Fenton, plates with 3 letters, yes just 3 LETTERS, cost i think 400 whereas other combination can range from 200-300.

I am happy to stand corrected on prices, but I thought that the $400 was for 3 letters and no numbers. All the plate suggestions above are from existing sequences already used, and although Vicroads will still slug a premium price (i.e. above the $11.00/plate issue fee); I don't think they will cost $400.
Anyway, even if it is that much, if you bought a Lux Sports at around $47kaud, it is still only an additional 0.85% cost to really make your beast stand out.

we got a custom plate of 2 letters and 4 numbers with a red background, and that costed us $270. But according to what Vicraods said, they'll charge $400 for any custom or personalised combination containing THREE letters.

totally agree alex, but the plates I suggested above are not personalised or customised plates, they were standard issue plates going back to the 60's, 70's and 80's. The "O" and the "C" plates are relatively cheap - $155.00 a pair. The "H" and "I" plates are also $155.00 a pair if you get them in blue and white, but if you want the original white letters with black background they cost $310 a pair (apparently it costs more to make the reflective black paint)
Your plates cost more due to you getting the coloured background as opposed to the standard blue lettering on a white background (which are also $155 a pair.
Here is the link to the pricelist at Vicroads...

I have seen a 6 with "SIXER" plates in Geelong one day when I was heading to Torquay.... Looked quite good actually..

Default Replying to Topic 'Victorian Registration Suggestions'

Hi Everyone,

Sorry I have been way too busy at work for the past weeks to even log in. Thought of another Victorian Registration that may or may not become available in the next few weeks...
