I'd think there's supposed to be a lip it sits into in the tube, at least mine does. When you tighten the hose clamp it tightens behind it to prevent slip. Is your lip still there?

Is it threaded?
I suppose if your missing that part as Dirk suggests you could put a little thread locker on there for the time being. Assuming its threaded in a manner for which my suggestion applies... Then go buy that part and replace when u can!

I'm running the same Cobb SRI
Are you still using the original Cobb filter? Not a big deal, lots of folks use different filters, but want a starting point...

Did you drive through a salt factory? Geez. I'll get a pic of mine sans filter shortly.

Okay, no lip, I must have been remembering something else. Now, the inside of the filter is a little rough, the plastics part. The plastic part it attaches to on the tube has a rough texture, too. When the hose clamp is tightened, friction holds it on.
