Default how many speed 6's left

Hey everyone,
I was wondering if anyone has thought this as well. But i was wondering how many speed 6's are actually left out there? i know they only made the car for 2 years and there were only like 6500 made i think. but just wondering if anyone has an idea of how many 6's are left?

Mazda never released official build numbers, but the highest vin number found by the several enthusiast communities was just below 11,500. I'm not aware of any loss statistics.

So, how many are left? Your guess is as good as mine...

they made closer to 10,000. theres a mazdaspeed6 database/registry, but i can't find the link right now. maybe someone else can chime in and post the link.

IIRC, didn't we lose several Speed's in that cargo ship the tipped over awhile ago?

I think that was only presumed.

And it isn't clear how many, or if Mazda made up for the loss.

But who is to say how many exist now? We have lost vary many to crashes and natural disasters. Impossible to say.

I'm sure 10K still exist and in operating condition.

I was doing a little digging this afternoon and found this video. In the discription there was one Speed 6 on the lot, but was in sad shape from the incident.

Also, I read here in the past that X number of the first off of the assembly line were "promotional vehicles" that never made it to any consumers...
