I have a creaking, and I am pretty sure it is a control arm. Warranty replaced my front lower-front, and the creaking is still there, so maybe the rear -front lower arm? I do not see the point of replacing the arm(s) themselves though, since bushings are what is going out, I doubt metal would need replacing. Found all bushings on RockAuto, but Mazda might have them for a fair price too. Workshop manual has instructions for replacing bushings as well...
Here is a picture, to help with any ideas...

Just put some grease up in there, the rubber bushing will love it. They'll swell up and your nosie issue will go away for a bit.

It is when it's cold only. Going over bumps, turning, leaving from parking...goes away when heated up. I have only tried spraying things with grease, but I need to remove wheel to really see everything well
