what is it labeled as in the fuse box? my parking lights just randomly dont turn on anymore, so i have a sure feeling its the fuse.

Were you tinkering with something (fog light mod or the like)? Parking lights are one of the 2 10a fuses that are separated from the rest in the upper right corner. If it's not the fuses it could be the relay to the left of the fuses and could account for the randomness. Try swapping that one out with one of the other black relays. If still no dice, you may have popped the Auto-Off module. See this if you're stumped after the relay... http://forum.mazda6club.com/index.php?showtopic=108223

thanks. i found it. i just went and looked at every fuse. i lost my manual so trying to find out what fuse did what was kind of tricky.

yep. the cover has all (or at least most) of the fuses listed on it.
I busted this fuse quite a few times while/after doing the brake light mod.
