So MS3 owners were successful at enabling it...
I went down to my MS6 and gave it a whirl, unfortunately a number of different combinations didn't work.

HOWEVER, I peered at the clock close up from an angle and I see: CONSUM AVCU REMNG L/100kmile/h in the background. SOOOO, it looks like the MS6 has a trip computer somehwere somehow.

I figure if the whole MS6 community gives a go at it, maybe somebody will come across the right combination to enable it. I'm heading back down to give it another try...

hmmmm I'll def give this a try. Would love to have this enabled on our cars.

PS....as already started below, we should start listing the combos we try so we can limit the amount of repeating each other as much as possible.

anyone success yet? lookin' foward to see a how-to on MS6

I've tried
-radio on
-turn off car
-hold AM/FM/CD
-turn on car
- still says BOSE SOUND

-radio off
-turn off car
-hold AM/FM/CD
-turn on car
- still says BOSE SOUND

still failed...

yeah that would be nice if it works...I doubt it...someone said that the American 6's are missing some hardware for the trip computer, but who knows. I am going to hope anyway.

You can get all trip stuff on an aftermarket gps, other than MPG.

Or a Scangauge II - plus tons more - not to mention the ability to pull and reset CEL codes.

I think you're missing the point...free easter eggs are a great bonus. Spending a couple hundred on a gps unit that doesn't do the same functions isn't really that exciting.
