I'm not "good" with fiberglass perse, but I was impressed with some of the cuts I made. Oh and interestingly enough, the popo is cool but while I was doing all this a condo commando told me I wasn't supposed to be working on my car lol.

As for the gaps, I would recommend learning how to patch fiberglass with.. fiberglass. It's messy and time consuming, but it would be the proper way to do it. next best thing is epoxy the pieces together (actually, should also do that if fiberglassing as well) and use body filler.. which could also be time consuming if you have to build up a lot. Then sand, clean, sand, clean, wet sand, clean, wet sand, clean, wet sand clean, prime, wetsand, clean, prime, wet sand, clean... you get the idea.

Also, are those projector fogs? If I wer you (which I'm not, fyi) I would try to find larger fog lights to better fit into those openings.. I personally like big fog lights.. like the older Imprezas. Or, if you're into the look, you could use up that gap with CCFL halos. They aren't for everyone, though. Just my $0.02

Thanks for the tips but I just intended on getting the cuts out of the way to save on labor costs. I'm not putting anymore work into the fitment myself. As far as the fogs, I bought them on a whim like every other part of my front end lol. I got them for 20 and am going to make them work. Did you not see the foam things I'm goin to use to fill the gaps? I'll prob plastidip them too to keep the color scheme going. Thanks for commenting.

Yeah I would prefer some fogs. It's actually going to be a pretty low cost part of the front end. Paid 20 for them and now just gonna wire the switched on power from the dash lights. As far as the grill, I already plastidipped both mesh parts. Looks much better!

I'm gonna set up the appt with the body shop tomorrow. I'd like to get it done before Sunday. Hopefully he can get me in before then.

Thanks. I'm hoping I can find the time/heat gun to take the door guards off before it gets repainted.. Unless they won't charge much to do it at the shop.

As for the doorguards, just do it yourself!
use a blowdryer and a old credit card or something and peel a corner to see if the door has been repainted, if it just looks a little shinier underneath youll be fine since that will come out with a little buff!
Mine came off and didnt even have a stripe underneath so you might get lucky!

Also i agree with the orange on bigger fogs
It might be worth another trip to the yard with a measuring tape and a measurement in hand?

I was thinking about the blowdryer thing but i thought someone said it wasn't hot enough.. maybe that was for rolling fenders. As far as the fogs, I looked all over the yard, nothing that was that size. It's all good though, those lexus lights have character. Once in, and I have the foam pad filling in the gap it will look fine. Cmon now, haven't you noticed I don't listen to anything you guys say! lol
