I was wondering if anyone has trouble with road noise in their Mazda 6 and has found a way to reduce. Have to take a long ride over Thanksgiving and wife wants to take Buick Lesabre cause its quieter.

I went by Mazda to find out if they have a under body dust shield and they said the 2006 Mazda 6 doesnt come with it even though there seems to be holes to allow bolting one. Plus the engine gets too much dust just riding on regular roads.

Any help appreciated.

Do you mean from the actual road or from like the wind.

It's one of the noisier cars in it's class.

It's not as quiet as a Camry or a Bru-ick

doesn't handle like those spongy things either.

For my Speed6, the road and wind noise is loud and apparent...well, part of it is due to my tires which are wearing out..

Wouldn't call it a quiet car at all but I usually blast my music to make up for the noises..hehe
