Hello,
Can anyone help............. Ive got a '58' plate Mazda 6 sport (deisel) - fab car, really enjoy it. However, last week i developed a problem with the alarm. It started sounding for no apparent reason. Then when I drove home and parked up on the thursday night it sounded again, this time I couldnt turn it off. It was even sounding when i started the engine it eventually stopped on its own. It hasnt happened since, but now when I arm the car, instead of just 1 flash of the indicators to signify the alarm is active, It flashes once and then a break, and then a further 3 times. anyone know why? Cheers, Andy |

i had the same problem with my mazda one night during a thunderstorm, my alarm just kept going off and then i had to disconnect my battery that night. appearantly the battery had died and i put a new one in. that seemed to fix the problem, but then i took it into the mazda service department and they said that my general electronic module had burnt out. so make sure you take your car to get a diagonsis check.
