I have a 2004 6i 5dr hatch and the rear hatch makes so much noise going over bumps on the road. It gets even worse when it's colder out. Does anyone else have this problem? How do i fix it? Does the hatch need new struts? Thanks in advance.

Well....I do have the same problem thought it`s the struts or the shock absorbers but it is not because I’ve upgraded to bilstein HD...went to dealer 10 times they found nothing and they said it`s normal but i know my car it is not normal ...i had this 3 years ago and it was smooth like silk.. but not any more... went to alignment shop he also found nothing...but in the end i think it`s from the interior bad plastic finish even the rear seats makes a terrible noise and I’m still trying to fix that...hope that someone can help us....may god do
