Congratulations on getting a solid car from your parents. I bought my 6 brand new in June 2006 and did some extensive driving with it. Nothing but oil changes, tires here and there, and new front brake pads. It's got over 66,000 miles on it now and it's still awesome. The only modification is a Mazdaspeed cold-air intake. I love it.

I'm driving around a 6s with 174K on it. Best car I've ever driven. Stock aside from an AEM CAI.

It is a speed yellow, and you are in Illinois?

Kingsford? Lol, you guys are like 3 year olds, entertained by the simplest thing.

For what it's worth, if it was me, I'd just drive it, and wouldn't spend time or money modifying a car with 85K miles on it. Later on, when you can swing it, buy a Mazda3speed...

Yep. Bought it off a member on this forum. Assuming you knew him or the car?

You were the one who bought the car from the guy who traded for a Honda Fit, yes?
