Thanks for the Tsb links. I have roughly 10k on my car (miles) 2006 ms6. I have always thought that the clutch was a bit off. (Touchy, harsh, etc). I recently drove a friends 07 ms6. His clutch is night and day. What are the differences between the clutches? I read the TSB and my car falls into the "A" type. Can I make an appointment to have this TSB done?

Thanks

Why not? Just print out the TSB and bring it to the dealership.

I agree. Print it and take it first hand.

If you're coming here, see Shaun only. Give him a heads up so your wait is minimized.

Take it anywhere else it would be just fun surprising them with something they probably know nothing about.

I just had to do this for the "Out of Alignment" TSB. Surely enough, they knew nothing about it. At first, they were a bit standoffish (alignment was in spec on visit 1 of 2), but the car still drifted/pulled to the right), but after I got it across that I wasn't trying to prove anybody wrong, or give them a hard time (it's like 20 miles each way to the dealership, BTW), the adviser started to work with me. We setup a time for me to ride with the tech, and he noticed what I was talking about. He called the tech line on the way back. Now we are working the problem, and so far I am really appreciative of their efforts.

Shouldn't be a problem, I've done it with my '94 Jeep. The tbs covers north american models but it will specify if it's US or CAN tbs only.

Tom. I need your help. I printed out your TSB regarding the Mazdaspeed6 clutch and brought my 06 MS6 (with the vin # that falls into the early Typa A clutch) to Autobarn Mazda here in Evanston IL. The service rep told me that the clutch is okay and they dont want to replace it (is it their option to deny?). He says all MS6 (including the 07s) are all like that. I never get to do a smooth 1 gear release shiftng it always jerks and need to over rev the accelerator to get it smoothly. Is there anyway to plead or demand to have it replaced... is that a right as a consumer to demand it? I bought the MS6 on that same dealer
