Sub/Amp Install

Hey Guys I ordered a sub & Amp for MY 15' Mazda 6 (Non-Bose)
So quick question is do I have to remove the head unit to install the "PAC AOEM-MAZ2 Interface" or is there a place off the passenger side kick panel that I've seen on only 1 video?

Hi,
I've gone through all questions/answers on Amazon and there is one guy there who bragged how easy it was to install and that he didn't have to take the dash apart. My guess is that if you don't have super giant hands you'll be able to take the glove box out and wiggle plugs in from the side and use zip ties to route the module behind glovebox.

Btw, I own the same car, and will be installing Kenwood ksc-sw11 using this module. Many people say that this is enough for a nice "Bose like" bass in the car and it wont take a lot of room.

It's not very hard to remove the factory radio; getting to the back of it without taking it out, while possible, is not going to be easy.

I have an aftermarket head unit in my car along with a Kenwood SW11 mounted under the pax seat. Works nicely.

I figured out first hand it's probably the easiest factory head unit I've had to access. After all was said & done the blue factory antenna wire wasn't supplying the 12v switch needed for the amp so I think I tapped to the red wire instead, strange but it kicked the amp right on.
