I got a Purolator BreatheEasy C26087 from Advance Auto, fits perfectly in my 2011 iSport. Was $6.99 plus tax. Was not in stock, but they delivered it from out of state to the local store overnight for no charge.

Heh Tommy, yours was worse than mine, & I had A/C freeze over issues. It took 4 hours continuous driving in Muggy Alabama Summer though. I had the fan on low to boot though. I have not had a freeze over since blowing mine out.

I am going to tape some window screen in front of the factory "screen". At least you cant see it and I can replace it easy enough.

I'm glad I do have a filter. I can still remember the old cars when leaves would get into the squirrel cage and make that crackling noise as it ground up the dry leaves.

Re: Cabin Filter

I got mine at orileys, they had two different filters and the wix filter was the one for our car.

My cabin filter has stinky smell. I washed it and dry but still it stinks like something is rotten. you guys help me out here I don't know where the smell is coming from. I can only smell it when the ac is on. I went to a mechanic and they said its the filter.

Buy a new one if it indeed smells. You need to use fresh air when you use ac rather than constantly using recirculate. It's not letting the system dry out which can cause mold/mildew growth.

@jonmossefin

Sometimes I will turn off the A/C just before my destination and let fresh air dry off the condenser. I haven't had your problem, but maybe what I'm doing is helping keep the condenser from getting moldy.

Hope that helps.

Tom
