Thumbs down 2003 Mazda 6s front grille and brakes

I just got my motor replaced on my car. After getting it back from the shop and driving around a little bit the grille flew off on the freeway. I am seriously unhappy about this. I have to go back to the shop for another check on the job and I get the feeling that even if the shop was somehow at fault they wouldn't admit to it. And I really don't know why this happened anyways.
So, I was wondering what you guys think. Should I try to get them to replace it? What is the best route to go to get a new one at a low cost? Is it likely the new one will do the same thing if I replace it?

Also, I am in need of a new brake master cylinder and general brake job. I need to avoid driving it until I get this done but I was wondering if that's something that might be easy enough to do outside of a shop. The shops I have had work done at recently have been really awful to deal with. I usually do most of my own work but obviously the engine was a bit out of my reach.

Is carid.com legitimate? They are selling the grille for significantly less than promazdaparts and the dealer I called.

P.S. By the way, the reason we keep prices that low is our price match policy, which makes us monitor prices to make sure we've got them not lower than in the other online stores.

I'm a big fan of salvage (treasure) yards for many things. This would be a reasonable item to find in one. Any color can be purchased and spray painted black then sanded and buffed to look pretty good. I have sanded down the "chrome" on the non-sport and painted it black to clean up the appearance.
